Snow Management Pioneers

NORDIC CENTER
» Courses are consistently wide, ranging from 10 to 15 metres
» The complete WCH course network covers approx. 8.5 hectares and can be fully covered with artificial snow
» Snow production is fully automated through a central control system supported by booster pumps and a cooling tower
» The natural cold-air basin phenomenon creates ideal thermal conditions and significantly enhances snowmaking
efficiency, while the water is sourced from the Stillach River at up to 65 l/s
» Infrastructure includes more than 30 modern snow guns, 100 connection points, a 40,000 m3 storage pond and a
pumping capacity of 120 l/s
SKI JUMPING ARENA
» Approx. 5,000 m3 of snow are required for the Ski Jumping Arena
» The facility includes 8 snow guns, a pumping capacity of 30 l/s, a cooling tower and a direct connection to the water
